The NT Labs Pond Water Mini Test Kit provides the perfect pond health check for the three main water parameters in a pond. The Pond Water Mini Test Kit includes tests for ammonia (NH3), nitrite (NO2) and pH. The NT Labs Mini Test Kit comes supplied with full instructions to help you carry out the tests correctly to ensure the pond maintains the optimum water quality parameters and to help restore perfect water quality should a parameter be incorrect.
Ammonia, Nitrite & pH
Ammonia is excreted by the fish as a waste product, too much ammonia will cause major health problems so needs testing regularly.
Nitrite is produced by the beneficial bacteria in the pond and filters as they break down the harmful waste ammonia, excreted by the fish. Nitrite can affect the health of fish, but is not as toxic as ammonia so test regularly.
pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of the water in a pond. Pond fish prefer the water to be between 7 and 8, fluctuations outside these values can cause stress and possible fatalities.

We offer free DPD next working day delivery to all UK mainland online orders over £49. For orders under £49, a flat fee of £5.99 applies.
For orders to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands, and Scilly Isles, DPD provides a two-working day delivery service, and additional shipping charges may apply at checkout.
Please note: We currently do not ship to Northern Ireland.
Selected items that are not available to order online may be available for local delivery at an extra charge.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, subject to stock availability.

We offer free store collection at our Wirral store, with orders ready for collection in as little as 15 minutes, depending on stock availability. If the item is not available at the Wirral store, you can choose to place the order on hold till stock arrives.
