Aquarium Algae Food

Plecos, catfish, loaches and other bottom-dwelling grazers need more than the leftovers that sink from other fish. Algae wafers and tablets sink straight to the bottom of the tank, delivering plant-based nutrition right where these fish feed. Most of these grazers live happily in tropical community tanks, so pair their wafers with a quality staple from our tropical fish food range for the rest of your fish.

Even if your tank has some natural algae, it's rarely enough to keep grazers well fed, so a regular algae-based food helps keep them healthy and active. Many bottom feeders are most active at night, so dropping a wafer in just before lights out is a great way to make sure they get their share.
