Measure the maximum length and width of the finished pond, followed by the maximum vertical depth. The calculator converts these measurements into feet before carrying out the liner calculation. Allowance = (Depth × 2) + 1 foot
Liner length = Pond length + Allowance
Liner width = Pond width + Allowance
This calculator provides an approximate pond liner size. The calculation is based on the pond depth being doubled and an additional 1 foot being added before this allowance is added to both the pond length and pond width. For irregular or complex pond shapes, consider allowing additional liner before ordering.
