Seachem Flourite 7Kg

Seachem Flourite is a specially fracted, stable, porous clay gravel designed for natural planted aquariums. Its texture and appearance make it ideal as a primary substrate, but it can also be mixed with other gravels if desired. Flourite is not chemically coated, will not alter pH, and lasts for the full lifetime of the aquarium without needing replacement.

A 7 kg bag occupies roughly 7,000 cm³, enough to create a 5 cm deep bed in a typical 40-litre aquarium. To calculate the amount you need, multiply your tank’s length × width × desired depth to determine the volume required.

• Although pre-washed, rinse before use to remove any dust created during transport

Tips

• Fill the aquarium slowly to avoid disturbing the substrate
• Pour water into a bowl placed on the substrate so it gently overflows
• Initial cloudiness is normal—use mechanical filtration (e.g., filter floss) to clear it
• For stronger root development, add a 2.5 cm base layer of Seachem Onyx Sand before adding Flourite
